First created with the goal of bringing live music to seniors at nursing homes, Myriam Darmé and Christine Guillot’s flute and piano duet has since diversified to offer concerts for all audiences.

Christine Guillot is a Dutch pianist, accompanist and choirmaster with over fourty years of chamber music experience, who has been dividing her time between performing and teaching piano since moving to France. Myriam Darmé, a Lorraine-born flautist, is a renowned pedagogue and author of many publications for her instrument.

For their concerts at nursing or care homes, the two musicians prepare programs of famous and varied works to stimulate and sustain the elderly’s musical memory. Their repertoire includes for instance:

Recitals for all audiences last 1h30 without intermission and mix personal arrangements with pieces selected with great care among the exceptionally rich repertoire for flute and piano duet.

If the venue does not possess an acoustic piano the musicians can bring their own digital piano.
