Harkan is a unique and mesmerizing band led by French harpist Maia Darme, Tunisian kanun (oriental zither) player Mohamed-Amine Kalai and Iranian Kurd Ebrahim Ahmadi on traditional percussion instruments. Already a household name in Maghreb, they are now taking their trademark sunny performance style north of the sea. But make no mistake, they are bringing with them the revisited Middle Eastern, North African, Turkish and Hispano-Andalusian ballads and dances that made their success.
