Created to bring live music to seniors at nursing homes, Myriam Darmé and Christine Guillot’s flute and piano duet will perform a program of famous and varied works to stimulate the elderly’s musical memory. From Bach’s Badinerie to Carmen’s Habanera through Aznavour Les Comédiens or Trenet’s Douce France, they alternate between classical music and popular songs, to the audience’s delight.
Christine Guillot is a Dutch pianist, accompanist and choirmaster with over fourty years of chamber music experience, who has been dividing her time between performing and teaching piano since moving to France. Myriam Darmé, a Lorraine-born flautist, is a renowned pedagogue and author of many publications for her instrument.
